The official app. Coming Summer 2026.
Ideas worth spreading deserve more than a one-day event. The TEDxMinneapolis app connects attendees, speakers, and fans to the full TEDxMinneapolis experience — year-round, in their pocket.
TEDxMinneapolis happens once a year. But the ideas, the conversations, and the people behind them deserve a home that lasts. The TEDxMinneapolis app is that home — a year-round companion that keeps attendees connected to the event, to past talks, and to what's coming next.
Built in Flutter for both iOS and Android, the app integrates directly with the TEDxMinneapolis WordPress backend — so content stays current automatically, no separate CMS required.
Explore every speaker — their background, their idea, their talk. Browse current-year speakers and dig into the full archive of past TEDxMinneapolis voices.
The full day-of schedule in your pocket. Know what's happening, when, and where — so you never miss the talk you came for.
Every TEDxMinneapolis talk, organized and searchable. Watch, revisit, and share ideas from years of events — all in one place.
Be the first to know when the speaker lineup drops, tickets go on sale, or the day-of schedule updates. Opt in to what matters, nothing more.
Stay connected between events. TEDxMinneapolis updates, announcements, and community moments — delivered directly through the app year-round.
Meet the organizations making TEDxMinneapolis possible. Sponsor profiles connect the community to the partners who keep ideas spreading.
The TEDxMinneapolis app isn't just a program guide. It's designed to be useful before the event, essential during it, and worth keeping long after.
I've spent four years helping make TEDxMinneapolis happen. This app is my way of making it last longer than one day a year.

Board Secretary & Speaker Coach, TEDxMinneapolis
The TEDxMinneapolis app isn't a client project — it's a labor of love. As a four-year volunteer, board member, and speaker coach for TEDxMinneapolis, I wanted to build something that matched the quality of the event itself.
The app is being developed and contributed through Howl & Hearth Studio LLC as a sponsor contribution to TEDxMinneapolis. It's built in Flutter for simultaneous iOS and Android launch, powered by the existing WordPress API backend — no separate infrastructure required.
This is what I mean when I say apps should be built with purpose — not just shipped, but made for something real.
